Please join us Sundays for worship at 8:30am and 10:30am. We broadcast the 9:30am Sunday school class and 10:30am service on Facebook live. Beginning on Wednesday May 1st the elders will offer a class on the book of Revelation. The class will last twelve weeks. The primary text besides the Bible is N.T. Wright's "Revelation for Everyone." The plan is to broadcast each session on Facebook.
At First Christian Church Athens, we believe in the Bible just as it is for people right where they are. Our mission encourages non-Christians to become Christians and Christians to become more like Christ. We do this through a balance of Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Service, and Evangelism.
