Discipleship is the process of becoming more like Christ.  A disciple is a student who strives to understand, teach and do what Jesus taught and did. The apostle Paul writes, “What you have heard through me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.”  2 Timothy 2:2 NRSV

Here at First Christian Church Athens we seek to be as disciples. We learn of Christ and his teachings through Sunday school and Sunday morning, and we strive to demonstrate our love of Christ and our understanding of his teachings in our daily lives.
